$^l=#tV This medal was created on the same day as the War Cross. Its obverse reads "Za Chrabrost" (for gallantry) whereas on the reverse the text reads "Pravda / Vitezi / 1939" (Truth prevails 1939).

lz( 9pz Instituted on 15 October 1943, this medal's reverse reads "Ceskoslovenska Armada v Zahranici 1939 / 1945" (The Czechoslovak Army Abroad). Bars can be present on its ribbon with a first bar fully worded and any supplementary bars added on being much smaller and abbreviated. In total four bars were created : SSSR, FRANCIE, VELKA BRITANIE and STREDNI VYCHOD (resp. USSR, France, Great Britain and Middle East).
